Heading towards Nenana-Denali direction from downtown Fairbanks (Anchorage direction), drive approximately 35 to 40 minutes, and when you reach the top of the mountain...
On the left side of the Parks Highway, you'll see a green sign for Fairbanks North Star Borough and an AT&T mobile phone signal tower. Take a sharp left turn onto the road just before (about 65 feet) these landmarks, and proceed about 650 feet along the road. You will then see a log house, which serves as the facility for Aurora observation.
